يسافر الصغير “أ” إلى مزرعة ريفية ليلتقي عمه الذي ربّاه، فيجد المكان صامتًا تمامًا، وعمه غائبًا. ما ينتظره هو “كتاب مقدس” مرعب يشرح بالتفصيل كيفية رعاية الماشية… لكن يبدو أن هناك شيئًا غريبًا.
